ISLAMABAD: If the judicial system of Azad Jammu and Kashmir could not provide justice then she will raise her case at all the national and international forums, said the plaintiff of gang rape, black mailing, and kidnaping case, Maria Tahir here on Thursday. She expressed this while addressing a press conference at National Press Club Islamabad.
She said that her case should be reopened as she did not receive justice from any Jirga or court yet. No one listened her words. She is the only girl who raised her voice for her rights as a number of girls of Bhimber are being silenced forcefully. It is her hard luck that the justice system of Azad Kashmir could not serve justice to her. Police department of Bhimber has also failed in performing its role properly. Civil society, lawyers, students, and organizations should raise voice for her, she further said.
