Bhimber: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, has said that serving the people of the state is my top priority in real terms. “University of Bhimber” will be an exemplary university of Azad Kashmir where not only the people of Azad Kashmir but students from all over Pakistan including Punjab will aspire to enroll. Assistance in formulating future research agendas in universities abroad proves to be instrumental. According to international standards, Bhimber University will function, and every individual of society should contribute to social welfare tasks so that the state of Azad Kashmir can achieve development milestones.
Merit restoration, governance improvement, making transparent decisions in institutions are necessary to maintain the supremacy of law and justice and social balance. Providing education and health to the public is my foremost priority. I am ensuring the protection of taxpayers’ money and will always assist the oppressed class. Relief is being provided to the people across the state. There has been a significant improvement in the condition of health units. The quality of education in Azad Kashmir has been improved, and there is a strict adherence to the rule of law. Accountability, governance, merit, and justice enable states to progress. I am rationalizing all institutions. All government employees should work hard. I want improvement in all sectors. Health and education systems are being closely monitored.
The Prime Minister expressed these views while presiding over an important meeting regarding the administrative matters of the University of Bhimber at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Bhimber. Deputy Commissioner Bhimber Marza Arshad Mahmood Jaral, along with Registrar University Dr. Abid Hussain, Treasurer Dr. Muhammad Saaim, Deputy Registrar Muhammad Naveed, briefed on the administrative matters, expenses in various departments, making the university functional, and the performance of other district departments.
Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq inquired from university authorities about the action plan regarding the provision of quality education to students, organizational structures of all departments, admission criteria, making the university operational, and urged them to work day and night so that the future generations could benefit from this grand project soon. The Prime Minister said that he wants to introduce a system that benefits all future generations equally. If the Prime Minister works 18 hours a day, then all other government employees should also work. Everyone should fulfill their responsibilities diligently. University authorities informed that Vice-Chancellor Brigadier (R) Professor Dr. Yunus Javaid and the entire team are fully active and classes will start soon according to the Prime Minister’s vision. Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq salutes the services of those who have worked tirelessly for the welfare of the people day and night. Various district heads briefed in the meeting, the Prime Minister directed officers that there is a zero-tolerance policy for negligence in performing duties, so they should continue working diligently and provide relief to the people.
Meanwhile PM AJK also expressed sorrow over the demise of Chief Editor, Printer, Publisher of Northern Group of Newspapers, Niaz Pasha Jadon. In his condolence statement, the Prime Minister offered his heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s journalistic services. The Prime Minister prayed that may Allah Almighty elevate the status of the deceased and grant patience to the bereaved.
