Accountability leads to development of nation: PM AJK

Islamabad: President Pakistan Muslim League-N Azad Kashmir chapter Shah Ghulam Qadir met with Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhary Anwar-ul-Haq, here in Islamabad on Sunday. Both the leaders discussed the current situation in Kashmir, development and progress in Azad Kashmir, and exchanged views on political matters. It was decided during the meeting that joint efforts would be made to address the Kashmir issue as it has entered a crucial phase. In this regard, it was emphasized that all political parties should adopt a unanimous stance on the Kashmir issue.

Both the leaders agreed on the concerted efforts should be made to highlight the Kashmir issue globally, and all political parties should unite with a consensus opinion on the matter.

Prime Minister Chaudhary Anwar-ul-Haq reassured the people of occupied Kashmir that their voice would be heard worldwide in a robust manner. He stated that under the auspices of the Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Council, political, religious, and freedom leadership would come together on one platform, organizing gatherings not only throughout Azad Kashmir but also in Pakistan and around the world to assert the right to self-determination.

Chaudhary Anwar-ul-Haq expressed his commitment to accountability without discrimination and emphasized that Azad Kashmir would progress on the path of development. He outlined priorities such as providing employment, building infrastructure, and improving the standard of living to bring happiness and prosperity to the people. He urged everyone to embrace the change in the state and promised improvements in the police, administration, and other sectors.

On this occasion, Shah Ghulam Qadir, the President of the Muslim League-N AJK, pledged full support to the government for the freedom movement. He also praised the good governance initiatives of the Prime Minister.
