Muzaffarabad: The ministers belong to Pakistan People’s Party Azad Kashmir have said that those who are talking about the no confidence motion in AJK should wait until 2026.
These views were expressed by the ministers of the central government, including PPP Azad Kashmir Secretary General Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Secretary of Information Sardar Javaid Ayub, Chaudhry Qasim Majid, and Sardar Zia-ul-Qamar, during their discussion with the delegation of the (Azad Kashmir Newspaper Society (AKNS).
They said that that the existing government in Azad Kashmir is strong and active. Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq has broken the status quo. In three months, he has accomplished what couldn’t be achieved in five years.
They said that It is a coalition government, and different opinions within the government are possible. The role of the state media is prominent in resolving public issues and contributing to development and progress, including the freedom movement in Kashmir.
The ministers assured the delegation that the government will utilize all means to strengthen the media. The AJK government has doubled the budget allocated for the media has been doubled.
The ministers said that a comprehensive policy has been formulated for the development, progress, and resolution of public issues in Azad Kashmir.
