The SNCH students of body of this college with faculty members conducted a symposium in auditorium.
A beautiful program was designed by Afaq final year. Maila, Asma, Aqsaa 4th years MBBS, and Dr Ali Hassan. It was attended by AJKMC and other Medical students by Resesrch presentations.
The core vision behind this one day seminar was to provide student researchers with the opportunity to hear from the countries leading authorities in Medical and Allied Health sciences, as well as to foster important exchanges and dialogue between students.
Dr Waseem Haider was the guest speaker while Prof Muhammad Ayub, Prof Zahid Azeem and Dr Suhail Raja were the key note speaker, while the principal; Prof Mulazim Hussain Bukhari was the chief guest. Prof Adnan Miraj, Prof Muhammad Arif and other faculty members attended the conference. Dr Raja Suhail conducted a hands on workshop with Prof Muhsmmad Ayub, on medical and scientific writings.
Dr Waseem Haider from COMSATS Islamabad gave the plenary lecture on Resesrch areas in genetics. Prof Zahid Azeem and Dr Ali Haider highlighted what the Azad Jammu Kashmir Medical college is striving to do for the last two years.
Prof Mulazim Husssin Bukhari highlighted the need of research in undergraduate students who are the real owners of future he told that Research is essential for medical field as it is the lifeline of modern medicine. Incorporating research in the undergraduate students in medical colleges and universities is pivotal in triggering the young minds of future physicians. Prof Bukhari said they It is imperative to get involved the young medical students in scientific research as early as possible in all medical institutes of Pakistan and AJK. It is the need of the for our country which is full of all resources, and more that 65% population is comprised of youth.
