Islamabad: All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter organized a prayer meeting in Islamabad, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, chaired by APHC-AJK chapter Convener, Ghulam Mohammad Safi, the participants of the meeting condoled the death of the sister of Dr Waleed Rasool and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Addressing the prayer meeting, they prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
APHC-AJK chapter General Secretary Advocate Pervaiz Ahmed, Information Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Ijaz Rahmani, Haji Muhammad Sultan, Javed Jahangir, Nisar Mirza, Imtiaz Wani, Zahid Mujtaba, Nazir Ahmed Karnai, Syed Gulshan, Zahid Safi, Khadim Hussain, Zahoor Ahmed Sufi and others participated in the meeting.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Hurriyat leaders from Jammu during a meeting congratulated Ghulam Mohammad Safi as the Convener of the APHC-AJK chapter and other office-holders including Advocate Pervez Ahmed and Mushtaq Ahmed Butt.
The delegates, included Qazi Muhammad Imran, Khalid Shabbir and Imtiaz Ahmed Butt, hoped that the newly elected team would use their full potential to make the freedom movement more active and energetic.
