Civil society raises eyebrows on poor construction of road

Muzaffarabad: The citizens of Muzaffarabad have raised a strong objection on the use of substandard material in the construction of Sandban to Bangran Road, which is an important tourist attraction point.
In this regard, renowned social worker Haroon -ur-Rashid told the media that the people of the have asked the contractor to stop the use of substandard red stones and ensure standard work, as well as address the issue of water drainage on the road.
According to the details some section of the print media is already reporting the news continuously about the inferior construction of the road but the people at helm of affairs have closed their eyes towards misappropriation.
He said that the civil society of Muzaffarabad, highlighting the flawed construction of the road, and condemning the contractors as well as Department of Public Works.
He said that the people have demanded for immediate use of solid material. It should be noted that previously, despite the attention of the concerned authorities, , towards the faulty construction of the road, no notice was issued.
Sandban to Bangran Road is being constructed with the aim to link the famous tourist points with Peer Chanasi and the new track will be made available to the tourists.
