Do you know Shahid Afridi once played for Ireland?

Karachi: Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, who has always been one of the marquee players in franchise cricket all over the world, once played for the Ireland cricket team back in 2006.

Then 26-year-old Afridi played as an overseas player alongside former off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq in the Cheltenham & Gloucester (C&G) Trophy.

He played six matches, scoring 128 runs and picked seven wickets. He played as a replacement of all-rounder Abdul Razzaq.
