Education for all our top priority: PM AJK

Prime Minister Azad Jammu Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, emphasized the importance of quality education in the development of nations, stating that education and training for children is the government’s top priority.

He expressed these views during a fundraising event for Pakistan Kashmir Cadet College in Rawalakot,

He said that the Azad Kashmir government has pledged to provide 100 kanals of land and 6.5 crore rupees for the college, as well as road and water facilities. Additionally, 1.5 crore rupees will be provided to Pakistan Sweet Home Islamabad for welfare works, and another 100 kanals of land will be given to build a cadet college, Pakistan Sweet Home Neelum.

At the event, Sardar Yaqoob Khan, former President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, emphasized the importance of education in a nation’s progress, while Zamrad Khan, head of Pakistan Sweet Home, praised the organization’s work in educating and training orphans and destitute children.

The proposed cadet college in Rawalakot, which is expected to be the second largest in the world.

 Dr. Shahid Khan, Patron-in-Chief of Pine Hills Welfare Trust Rahara, pledged to complete the project for the sake of Allah. Many government officials, political leaders, businessmen, and administrative officers also  attended the event
