Following SOPs is the only way to avoid 2nd wave of Covid-19

PESHAWAR: On the direction of Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat, in collaboration with Rescue 1122, spraying was carried out at Traffic Headquarters Gulbahar and Traffic Line Bacha Khan Chowk to prevent corona virus while traffic personnel were sprayed to be prevented from corona virus.

Precautions were taken to control the spread of the virus.

Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat has said that the number of corona virus cases has decreased but the virus has not been completely eradicated, so the traffic officers and citizens are still assured to implement government orders to avoid COVID-19.

He added that according to World Health Organization WHO reports, the second wave of corona virus could be more dangerous and the only way to avoid it is to implement SOPs.

He said that the citizens should use masks and ensure social distance and wash their hands frequently and avoid socializing with each other to control the global epidemic.

Meanwhile, a notification has been issued to implement micro-smart lockdown in the areas of the provincial capital from 6 pm.

These areas during micro-smart lockdown Muslimabad, Kakshal, University Town, Shami Road, Peshawar Cantt, Hayatabad Phase 4 and Phase 7 will be closed for out entry.

The micro smart lockdown is being implemented only in streets / small areas on the policy and instructions of the federal government.

The purpose of the micro-smart lockdown is to stop the spread of Corona. The lockdown has been imposed in these areas due to reports of corona virus.

Only essential items like food, medicines, general store, oven and emergency service shops will remain open in the areas.

Only five people will be allowed to offer congregational prayers in mosques.

Instructions have been issued to the area magistrate and police regarding implementation of micro-smart lockdown while the violators will be prosecuted.
