MUZAFFARABAD: (Staff Reporter) German Aid for Afghan Children (GAAC) distributed food packages among 400 deserving families of widows, orphans, disables, and others in Muzaffarabad on other day. The food packages distribution ceremony was held at Ambore Muzaffarabad. The distribution was a part of German Aid for Afghan Children Coronavirus in Pakistan program.
Speaking at the occasion, Director GAAC Alim Shahab said that GAAC is firmly standing with the people of Pakistan in all the good and bad times. He said that every possible effort would be made to help the poor. Helping the poor and needy people is aim of my life, there are a number of people who have been deprived of their income due to the spread of coronavirus and they are in need of our generosity, he added.Alim Shahab said that the pandemic has baldy disturbed the financial situation of the masses. In such a situation the hardships of the inhabitants of poor people have been increased to an extreme level.
According to President GAAC, Dr. Eros serving people in the time of need is the real humanity. GAAC has helped thousands of needy people in Pakistan so far. GAAC will come with another such package in near future, he further said. People lauded the efforts of GAAC for arranging a service for delivering food packages at the families’ doorsteps.
