Gold rates in Pakistan on January 14

  • 10 grams of 22k gold was traded for Rs89,120, while one tola of 22k gold was traded for Rs103,949.
  • In the international market, gold rates decreased from $5 to $1,855/ounce.
  • Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs1,300/tola on Wednesday.

KARACHI: A single tola of 24-karat gold in Pakistan is being sold for Rs113,400 on Thursday, January 14, at the opening of the bullion market.

Likewise, 10 grams of 24k gold was sold for Rs97,222 at the opening of trading.

Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22k gold was traded for Rs89,120, while one tola of 22k gold was traded for Rs103,949.

Gold rates in the local market increased Rs100/tola to Rs113,400/tola, according to the data released by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association on Wednesday.

Similarly, 10 grams of the gold price went up to Rs86 to Rs97,222, it added.

In the international market, however, gold rates decreased from $5 to $1,855/ounce.

Jewelers claimed prices in the local market remained Rs1,000/tola lower, compared with the rates in the Dubai gold market.

Meanwhile, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs1,300/tola. The price of 10 grams of silver also stood the same at Rs1,114.54.
