Mirpur: Minister of Energy for Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Arshad Hussain has stated that substantial efforts are underway for the development and prosperity of the state. Additional projects for electricity generation are progressing in Azad Kashmir. A workshop has been established for transformer maintenance in Jatlan. With the establishment of the Jabi subdivision, further improved facilities will be provided to the public. Additionally, more personnel will be recruited, providing employment opportunities for local youth. A yearly development program will be issued within the coming week, including the installation of new transformers, supply of electricity polls, and the replacement of old worn-out wires, aiming to alleviate issues. During the occasion, the Minister inaugurated the Jabi Electricity Division, and Chief Engineer of Electricity Mirpur, Saeed Gilani, briefed the Minister.
