How PDM govt manages economic crisis?

By: Arif Chaudhry Advocate

Alhamdulillah, Pakistan came out of the danger of default, the government made the payments, a friendly country offered its support to improve the relations between Pakistan and the IMF, the timely management of the issues by the government is an indication that the government is vigilant. The economic team is trying to show its good performance, but in this context, the government should hire the services of internationally recognized economic experts of national level and bring this matter to a final conclusion so that the sword of default on Pakistan is removed forever.
At present, a section is showing Pakistan to be on the brink of default and destruction, sadly, there is a large number of educated people among them, leading to this hype and chaos. They are probably unaware that this is not a political leader’s issue, but it is Pakistan’s issue , the chaos of defaults was resulting in discouragement of foreign investment, fear among our overseas Pakistanis stopping remittances that perhaps Allah forbids (dust in my mouth) Pakistan that If it breaks, their funds will sink. O people of Pakistan, be conscious for the sake of Allah, this is our country, our name, our identity and our honor are associated with this country, if this country does not exist, what will be our identity، Let’s admit that the graph of our judiciary has fallen to the worst possible extent, our politicians have become blinded in the battle of personal ego and tyranny, our institutions are grinding badly in the mill of political battles, but despite this, it is our Pakistan. It is a country, it is Pakistan, it belongs to Allah.
India, Israel, who did not get tired of plotting against Pakistan till yesterday, today are silent spectators and are playing happy songs that the destruction of Pakistan which they could not do for more or less seven decades is being done by our Pakistanis themselves. Please use common sense, Pakistan is a state, not a muscle of some kind that is going to be collapse. Do remember that without Pakistan, wherever you are, you live in any corner of the world, your status will be nothing more than a third-class citizen. So think of Pakistan, if these thieves, robbers, bandits, fraudulent politicians and some self-interested judges and a few black sheep hiding in institutions want to push Pakistan towards destruction, Yes why not us stand firm and united and stand against all of them. To, me, none of them is righteous, but this can only be possible when you think as a Pakistani and not as a follower of a particular politician or personality. Instead of imposing your ideas on others, if you unite for Pakistan, you can move towards solving the problems.
As far as the issue of IMF loan payments is concerned, although the State Bank of Pakistan is trying its best to solve this issue through import restrictions, it must be solved in a very good manner and by banning the import of such items. which are considered unnecessary and luxuries. The State Bank has issued instructions to banks in import cases to slow down the processing of financial instruments, but this is not a solution to the problem, nor can this problem be fixed on a long-term basis.
The government should first divide imports into essential and non-essential items including providing additional facilities to exporters on an emergency basis to promote its exports, but at the same time importers who are a major part of Pakistan’s economy. Their problems must also be kept in mind and stakeholders must be taken into full confidence while taking any decision so that Pakistan as a state and Pakistani people can breathe a sigh of relief.
It is hoped that we all can play our role in the development and survival of Pakistan by working with patience and tolerance among us.
