HRCP highlighting Kashmir issue nationally, internationally: Saghar   

Islamabad: Chairman of the Human Rights Council Pakistan, (HRCP) Jamshed Hussain, along with a delegation visited the office of All Parties Hurriyet Conference Islamabad office on Tuesday. The delegation held detailed discussion on Kashmir issue.

On the occasion Convenor APHC AJK chapter Mahmood Ahmed Saghar stated that HRCP has always been a prominent supporter of the Kashmir cause and has played a crucial role in highlighting the Kashmir issue on social and diplomatic fronts.

Convener APHC AJK reiterated the Human Rights Council Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Kashmir cause, emphasizing its pivotal role in raising awareness about the Kashmiri struggle both domestically and internationally.

Chairman HRCP Jamshed Hussain underscored the unparalleled sacrifices made by Kashmiris in their resistance against India’s illegal occupation of the region. He condemned the Modi government’s tactics of suppressing the Kashmiri people’s quest for freedom through violent means, arbitrary detentions, and unjust arrests.

Secretary General APHC AJK Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Secretary Information Imtiaz Wani, and senior APHC AJK leader Syed Ajaz Rahmani were also present on the occasion

Furthermore, other speakers on the occasion drew parallels between the Modi government’s policies in Kashmir and Israel’s actions in Palestine, highlighting the need for global attention and intervention in the Kashmir issue.

They emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir remains a disputed territory recognized by the international community, with the United Nations affirming the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination through various resolutions—a right they vow to attain.
