Imran Khan claims that the government is attempting to “block out” his flood relief telethon.

Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI, claimed on Monday that the current administration was attempting to thwart the PTI-led telethon to gather money for flood relief by “threaten[ing] cable providers.”
The PTI raised Rs5.2 billion during a telethon that the former prime minister hosted on Sunday.
According to Imran Khan, the previous administration prohibited TV broadcasters from airing telethons.
Government allegedly “threatening cable companies” who carried on airing his telethon.
Government is reportedly “terrified of gaining popularity among the nation.”
Khan said on Twitter that the government “pressured” TV networks to stop airing the telethon before “threaten[ing]” cable providers who continued to air the program.
The PTI chair wrote, “This demonstrates how terrified they are of our growing national popularity, as well as how they are aware that no one trusts them with money given their history of robbery and looting. Unbelievably callous, they sought to block fundraising for flood victims just to get at me and my party.
In order to help the victims and places ravaged by the devastating floods that struck Pakistan during this monsoon season, flooding one-third of the nation and causing incalculable damage, Pakistan has been requesting foreign assistance in the form of money and relief supplies.
