In a gunfight with militants in the Khyber District, a soldier died.

SHAKAS: According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a Pakistan Army soldier accepted death after a firefight with terrorists.
The military’s media wing claims that on November 7, the security forces carried out a Joint Intelligence-Based Operation in the vicinity of Shakas in the Khyber District.
The military and terrorists engaged in a ferocious firefight throughout the operation.
“Own troops successfully attacked the terrorists’ base. As a result, Liaquat Ali, also known as Shaheen, a significant terrorist commander, died. The terrorist who was slain was similarly misrepresented as a “lost person,” “Read the declaration.
The statement also stated that Liaquat Ali continued to actively engage in terrorist actions against security forces, target killing, and extortion. A significant amount of weapons and ammunition were also discovered from the terrorist who was murdered during the operation, it was added.
However, during the gunfight, 28-year-old Sepoy Saleem Khan of Topi, Swabi District, who had battled valiantly, accepted shahadat. The statement stated that the location was being sanitised in order to get rid of any further terrorists that might have been hiding there.
It continued by saying that the Pakistan Army was committed to ending the threat of terrorism, and that such sacrifices made by its valiant warriors further bolstered the military’s dedication.
