GUJRAT: Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi on Sunday outlined his and his son Moonis Elahi’s decision to endorse Imran Khan despite belonging to a different political party.
The prime minister Shehbaz Sharif’s “aristocratic way of thinking,” according to Elahi, was something he was well aware of while speaking to journalists in Gujrat, Punjab.
By appointing Shehbaz as prime minister, what type of gift was given to the people? Elahi said with irony.
In a jab at the present administration, he claimed that the PML-true N’s colours had been shown, which was why his son and I preferred to support Imran Khan rather than the current government.
The Sharif family, he continued, “is imprisoned in Islamabad and is soon to receive a life sentence in the Model Town case.”
Elahi commented on the premier’s overseas visit and his efforts to get assistance from the international community for the country’s flood-affected regions “He might also ask [foreign leaders] for a ticket back to Pakistan, it appears.
