JI appoints Raja Jehangir as Secretary General of Jamaat Islami AJK , GB

Islamabad: After consultation the central council of Jamaat Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir has appointed Raja Jehangir Khan as its Secretary General for Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Raja Jehangir Khan took the oath of office during the central council meeting.
According to JI’s spokesperson, Raja Jehangir Khan has a background in student activism, affiliated with Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba as he remained its organizer in Jammu and Kashmir. He served as the president of Punjab University Student Union.
He has previously held positions as the Ameer of Jamaat Islami in Mirpur district and Director of Kashmir Press International.
