In his statement he said that the people rejected the change of rules of business in Gilgit Baltistan. Now efforts should be made to avoid actions that harm the identity of individuals in Gilgit-Baltistan. Instead of limiting their powers, the officers of Gilgit-Baltistan should be empowered and respected, utilizing their capabilities.
He said that Jamaat-e-Islami will not allow any oppressive actions of this nature or any interference in the autonomous regions of the state.
He said that the brave and courageous people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan liberated these regions through jihad, not by putting them in a tray. Nations keep their personalities alive and active at all costs.
“The proud and courageous people of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir will continue to play their role for the freedom of Kashmir, along with their constitutional and political rights”, he added.
