Kashmir Diaspora assures raising Kashmir issue across globe

Teesside: Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement International team led by Founder Chairman Raja Najabat Hussain Sitara-e-Pakistan attended the Kashmir Conference in Stockton organised by Councillor Rahil Shafiq with the support of Teesside Muslim Council where JKSDMI Chairman was Chief Guest and it was presided by the Shafqat Rashid Chairman of Teesside Muslim Association

The other speakers of the event Sardar Abdur Rahman Khan Patron JKSDMI, former Lord Mayor of Bradford Raja Ghazanfer Khaliq, TV anchor Ijaz Fazal, JKSDMI administration Director Harry Boota, host Councillor Rahil Shafiq,Former Mayor of Stockton Mohammad Javed, Councillor Mubeen, Councillor Shakeel, NAP leader Rizwan Sadique, Molana Mohammad Sadique and Abbas Baig Advocate.

All the participants raised the serious concerns about the Human Rights Violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir State and demanded the British Government to put pressure on the Indian Government for the release of all the Kashmiri prisoners in Indian Jails especially JKLF Leader Mohammad Yaseen Malik.

Raja Najabat Hussain Chairman JKSDMI expressed that British Kashmiris and Pakistanis along with their local friends raise the issues on Kashmir with the Parliamentarians and human right organisations in their areas. He briefed the audience about the work of JKSDMI and team members of JKSDMI activities all over the World.

Local Councillors and community leaders assured the team JKSDMI that they are already working closely with the local Parliamentarians. They announced to celebrate Pakistan Day in Teesside.

All the participants said that Pakistan is our native country and we’ll work for the welfare of Pakistan as well as Britain but Kashmir is an important issue for all of us and we assure our brothers and sisters in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir that British Pakistani and Kashmiri will always fight their cause at the International level until they achieve their Right of Self Determination. All the speakers thanked Councillor Rahil Shafiq for organizing the Conference.
