Kashmiri announce to observe 8th July as Martyrs day

Muzaffarabad: Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders have announced to observe 8th martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Wani Shaheed as Resistance day with full zest and zeal.

According to the details, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Vice Chairman International Forum for Justice and Human Right Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Usman Ali Hashim, Faisal Farooq, Muhammad Fayyaz Khan has said that an organized contingent of Kashmiri youth will salute the martyrs of Kashmir and the national flags of Kashmir and Pakistan.

It has been announced to observe “Resistance Day” to pay homage to the great Kashmiri freedom fighter Burhan Wani, who raised the voice of freedom against Indian oppression in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

They said that rallies will be organized in all districts to on Wani’s Martyrdom Day across Azad Kashmir.

Speakers said that Burhan Wani Shaheed exposed the war crimes of Delhi government to the whole world by using social media in the best way.

They said that Burhan Wani showed Kashmiri youth the path of resistance for freedom from Indian occupation.

“Kashmiri people will always remember the sacrifices of Burhan Wani and thousands of other martyrs”, he added.

Speakers mentioned Muhammad Maqbool Butt, Mir Waiz Maulvi Muhammad Farooq, Abdul Ghani Lone, Sheikh Abdul Aziz, Burhan Muzaffar Wani, Syed Ali Shah Gillani, Muhammad Ashraf Khan Sehrai, Muhammad Afzal Guru, Muhammad Dar, Shams-ul-Haque, Maqbool Elahi, Dr. Sabzar, Professor Rafi Butt, Zia Mustafa, Abdul Wahab,Zia Mustafa, Abdul Wahab, Sunan Zafar, Abdul Majeed Shaheen and others who sacrificed their lives for freedom from Indian occupation.

The leaders announced that on Monday, July 8, 2024, the organized contingent of Kashmiri youth will salute the martyrs of Kashmir and the flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir along with national anthems at 6 am at Khatam-e-Nabuwat Chowk Bank Square Chatter.

Speakers said that in order to motivate the Kashmiri youth to strive for freedom, a race called “Run for Freedom” will be organized in which the youngsters over 18 years of age will participate voluntarily.

They said that the Kashmiri people have no other option for the freedom of the state except resistance against India.
