Islamabad: Renowned Karachi business community leader and social activist Sardar Muzaffar Khan held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhary Anwar-ul-Haq, at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad. During the meeting, the Prime Minister praised the efforts of the Kashmiri community and acknowledged that Kashmiri business leaders are ambassadors of the state, holding a unique identity through their hard work both within and outside the country.
At this occasion, Sardar Muzafafar Khan commended the Prime Minister for the state’s initiatives and progress in terms of development and prosperity. He also appreciated the Prime Minister’s decision to eliminate unnecessary expenditures, including protocols at the Prime Minister’s House, which, he said, would ease the burden on the common man. Sardar Muzaffar Khan expressed his belief that this would facilitate the public’s access to the Prime Minister and thanked him for the positive steps taken for the welfare of the people.
Sardar Muzaffar Khan extended an invitation to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir for a visit to Karachi, which was graciously accepted. Furthermore, he informed the Prime Minister about the notification for Additional Deputy Commissioner General to sit in Hajeera for fifteen days to address public issues in the Hajeera division. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for Sardar Muzaffar Khan’s acknowledgment and praised his public welfare initiatives on this occasion.
Chaudhry Akbar Ibrahim, the Minister of Food Azad Kashmir, was also present at the event. Sardar Muzaffar Khan drew the attention of Prime Minister Chaudhary Anwar-ul-Haq to the issues faced by migrants and Kashmiris residing in Pakistan, emphasizing the need for their resolution. The meeting concluded on a positive note, highlighting the collaboration between the business community and the government for the betterment of the people.
