Mirpur: Ministers of Azad Jammu & Kashmir government Chaudhry Arshad Hussain, Chaudhry Azhar Siddique, and Chaudhry Yasir Sultan reiterated that the festivities of independence are being celebrated by Kashmiris and Pakistanis worldwide.
Responding to the appeal by President Azad Jammu & Kashmir Sardar Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry and Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, the people of Jammu and Kashmir celebrated Independence Day with enthusiasm, affirming their bond with Pakistan.
As Pakistan grows stronger, occupied Kashmir will also achieve freedom from India. The global community, including India, witnessed the fervor of Kashmiris celebrating Pakistan’s Independence alongside other nations.
Chaudhry Arshad Hussain stated that India is an occupying country that has illegally occupied Kashmir. Kashmiris have been persistently struggling against this unlawful occupation for the past 76 years. Until India ends its illegal occupation of occupied Kashmir, Kashmiris will continue to observe India’s Independence Day as a Black Day. Despite the oppressive measures against freedom leaders in occupied Kashmir, Muslims there continue their struggle against Indian tyranny. The Azad Kashmir government is a base for the freedom movement.
Chaudhry Azhar Siddique conveyed greetings for the entire nation on Independence Day. He said that Pakistan’s existence, established on the 27th of Ramadan, is under Allah’s protection. Pakistan is our representative, and its governments, Chief of Army Staff, and the people have consistently taken a principled stance on Kashmir.
Chaudhry Yaser Sultan expressed that our forefathers sacrificed greatly for the Kashmir freedom movement, and Pakistan’s inception was achieved through their dedication. Due to this same fervor, even under the shadow of 900,000 Indian armed forces, Kashmiris are persistently fighting for their freedom in occupied Kashmir. The enemy has used all means to suppress their spirit, but it has failed. Soon, the people of occupied Kashmir will attain their dream of freedom.
