PESHAWAR: Chief Executive MTI KTH/KMC/KCD and Dean KMC Prof Dr Mahmud Aurangzeb on the behalf of the institutions offered profound thanks to Khyber Medical College Alumni Association of North America (KMCAANA ) and Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA) and especially its President Dr Rashid Hanif, for their very generous, kind and compassionate donation to two martyrs of this institution.
The first one Adnan Haleem, a 3rd medical student and the second Khalil Rehman, a ward orderly; both tragically lost their battle against COVID-19.
Dean KMC distributed the cheques Rs 320000 each to the families today on 29th Dec 2020. It was an emotional event but the gesture brought smiles to the faces of the families of both Martyrs. The families were touched by the fact that sitting thousands of miles away, KMCAANA and APPNA all sympathised and related to their bereavement in a meaningful way. They reciprocated with lots of prayers. Dean KMC Prof Dr Mahmud Aurangzeb thanked KMCAANA and APPNA once again and wished that they may thrive.
