PLANDARRI: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has said that Kashmir issue has been passing through its critical phase of history and made it clear that Kashmir is indivisible unity and no power on earth can divide Kashmir. Addressing the death anniversary of Baba-e-Poonch Col Khan Muhammad Khan here on Wednesday, he paid rich tributes to the services of Col Khan Muhammad Khan and said that he enrolled 27 thousand persons and played a pivotal role for the liberation of Azad Kashmir from Dogra Despotic rules and also laid a strong edifice for the promotion of education in the area.
He said people of Azad Kashmir are ready to offer every kind of sacrifice for the sanctity and identity of the state and success of current liberation movement launched by the Kashmiris for the achievement of their fundamental right to self determination and they will not compromise on this issue at any cost. He made it clear that administrative and financial power of the state will not be given back in any circumstances. He said elections in Azad Kashmir will be held free, fair and in a transparent manner and expressed the hope that elections in Gilgit and Baltistan will also be held in free and fair. Referring to the achievements of his government he said government has introduced NTS and recruitments were made on merit and mega developmental projects were also completed for the socio economic uplift of the people of Azad Kashmir and added that all out efforts will be made to service the people during the remaining period of his government.
