Army Medical Corps (AMC)’s unit 1 Mtn. Med. Bn organized a free medical camp at the remote village of Rehra at district Bagh on Friday.
The purpose of holding free medical camp was to provide better healthcare facilities to local population of district Bagh
Pak Army deputed several doctors including general family physicians, dentists, pediatrician, gynecologist and surgical specialists for the medical camp, where thousands of people of the area were provided the facility of medical checkup along with X-Ray, laboratory tests, ultrasound, ECG and minor surgeries.
The patient came to camp with the complaints of scabies, leucorrhea, gastroenteritis and dyspepsia along with common diseases like fever, flu and cough. Free of cost medicines were also distributed among the patients.
On the occasion a lecture was also arranged to create awareness among the people of the area on the topic “Antenatal Care and Family Health Care”. The lecture was delivered by a lady medical officer to the local ladies as a part of preventive healthcare.
