The meta-owned instant messaging network WhatsApp is currently unavailable in several nations, including Pakistan.
Although there has been no official statement from WhatsApp to date, there are indications that users are unable to send or receive messages on the Meta-owned messaging service, and #WhatsApp is becoming a prominent trend on Twitter.
“We’re striving to restore WhatsApp for everyone as quickly as possible,” a representative for WhatsApp parent company Meta Platforms told Reuters. “We’re aware that some people are now having problems sending messages.”
After tracking website Downdetector stated that users were having issues utilising the service, the outage was reported.
