PM AJK assures no use of excessive force against protestors 

Muzaffarabad: A delegation of the Trader Organization, led by President Muhammad Razaq Khan, met with the Prime Minister of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat. The meeting, which took place in the presence of several notable figures including Nasar-ul-Rehman Abbasi, Busharat Khan Moghal, Sheikh Zafar Ali Akbar, Raja Tahir Tarek, Raja Waqas Sikander, Raja Saeed Akhtar, Muhammad Abdullah, Raja Jawad Ali Khan, Zahid Kayani, Imad Nazir, Ishtiaq Islam, Chaudhry Amir Gujjar, Syed Nabeel Hussain Shah, Adnan Maqsood, Malik Khurshid Awan, Syed Maqsood Haider, Malik Riaz Awan, Umtiaz Abbasi, Syed Mazhar Hussain Shah, Ashfaq Tarin, and others, discussed various issues concerning the welfare and rights of the citizens.

Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq emphasized that advocating for public rights is not a crime, but any allowance of theoretical contamination will not be tolerated. He affirmed the government’s commitment to taking all possible measures to establish state sovereignty and reiterated that no compromise would be made on this matter. He also pledged to ensure that the ideology of completing Pakistan remains unblemished, asserting their guardianship of this ideology. He underscored that Pakistan is the center of their hopes and aspirations, and joining Pakistan is their ultimate goal.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq stated that every effort will be made to safeguard and promote the rights of the citizens. He emphasized that state resources should only benefit the underprivileged classes and reiterated that these resources should never be utilized for the benefit of corrupt individuals. He called upon traders to play their role in bringing about societal betterment and assured that all issues concerning traders would be addressed on a priority basis. Additionally, he expressed the government’s commitment to enhancing the effectiveness of municipal institutions.

Assuring the public, the Prime Minister stated that no excessive force would be used against the people of Azad Kashmir, and the protection of foreigners remains their responsibility, with the use of force reserved solely for their protection. He highlighted that despite unfavorable circumstances, the federal government has not withheld their funds and announced interest-free loans for the youth to enable them to start their own businesses. He also mentioned ongoing improvements in various sectors including healthcare, education, and infrastructure.

Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq stressed the need for collective efforts to build a society free from nepotism and bigotry. He encouraged ethical courage and asserted that only through moral integrity can constructive dialogue occur. He mentioned that since April 20, 2023, no corruption has been proven, and while the government is committed to listening to dissenting voices, it cannot permit the usurpation of law and order in the name of public rights.

Lastly, he criticized the propagation of propaganda against the new generation, emphasizing the need to guide them towards the right path. He highlighted the active role of institutions such as the Public Service Commission, the Accountability Bureau, and the National Testing Service in promoting meritocracy. He concluded by stating that governance reforms will be implemented, and transportation policies will be enacted to ensure smoother traffic flow, with stringent measures to eradicate various mafias plaguing the state. He expressed hope that, by the grace of Allah, the people of the state would soon experience prosperity and happiness.
