Muzaffarabad: President Azad Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, has appointed Muhammad Zareef Khan, a Kashmiri diaspora residing in the United States, as his honorary advisor in Washington.
He has been residing in the United States for a while and is recognized as an advocate for the Kashmir cause. He is the General Secretary of Kashmir American Welfare Association (KAWA) and also holds positions as the General Secretary of Pakistan Links, Member of Pakistan Farm House Maryland, and Member of Kashmir House Washington.
The Kashmiri community residing worldwide, including in the United States, has expressed joy and gratitude for this appointment, extending their thanks to the President of Azad Kashmir. The notification appointing him as an honorary advisor was issued by the President of Azad Kashmir on Monday.
