President AJK asks Kashmiri diaspora to raise voice for Kashmir issue

Islamabad:  President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has said that in this crucial phase of the Kashmir movement, efforts need to be intensified at the international level to highlight the Kashmir issue and mobilize the overseas Kashmiri community.
These views were expressed by President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry during a detailed meeting with the delegation of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, led by its President Fahim Kiani, at Kashmir House here on Thursday.
He said that since 5th August 2019, the Indian-occupied Kashmir has witnessed escalating human rights violations and suppression. “The overseas Kashmiris should utilize all their energies to highlight the Kashmir issue at the international level, expose the dark face of India to the world, which is committing gross human rights violations in the occupied Kashmir, and effectively convey to the world the plight of the Kashmiri people who are suffering from Indian oppression and brutality”, President AJK added.
He said that the world should be made aware that the Kashmiri people deserve the right to self-determination as per the United Nations resolutions, and efforts should be intensified to achieve that goal.
