Islamabad: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, has said that the longstanding issues of Mirpur will be resolved soon.
The President said this during a meeting with a delegation from Mirpur at the Kashmir House here on Monday, led by Khawaja Tahir.
The President said that efforts are underway for the completion of projects like Rathoa Haryam Bridge and the Mirpur Water Supply Scheme. Similarly, significant progress is being made in the construction of sewage systems and various roads in the city.
“There has been an increase in unemployment in Mirpur, and like in the rest of Azad Kashmir, steps are being taken to address this issue.
Chaudhry Muhammad Mansha, Director General of Mangla Dam Housing Authority, former Deputy Administrator of Mirpur Municipality, Chaudhry Amjad and Chaudhry Tahir Ayub were present on the occasion.
