ISLAMABAD: Protest against Indian aggression along the Line of Control (LoC) staged in front of the National Press Club (NPC) in Islamabad on Sunday. The protest demonstration was organized by Self Determination Movement International, Friends of Kashmir International, Jammu and Kashmir Forum France, Itihad e Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and All Parties Hurriyat Conference.
The speakers of the demonstration condemned the Indian firing on innocent civilians living closer to the LoC. They said that the Indian forces are continuously violating all the international laws by targeting the civilians along the LoC. In a recent firing of Indian forces a number of homes of innocent civilians in Neelum were damaged. A number of civilians embraced martyrdom and various others received serious injuries.
Hurriyat AJK leaders Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi and Mushtaq Ahmed Butt in their statements in Islamabad said that brutal policies of the Modi government had turned the life of Kashmiris not only living in IIOJK but also along the LoC into a hell. Hurriyat leader Abdul Hameed Lon lauded the role of Pakistani armed forces and urged the international community to play its decisive role in resolving the prolonged Kashmir issue.
