Karachi: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five achieved the top spot in a unique list. Among all the foreign T20 league, the tournament accumulated the highest run-rate in the last one year.
PSL 2020 gathered a rate of 8.64, meaning that an average inning score per innings was nearly 173. The final and Qualifier were a low-scoring encounter but the Eliminators were high scoring.
Second, on the list is New Zealand’s Super Smash with a rate of 8.58. South Africa’s Mzansi Super League is placed third with 8.40 while the Indian Premier League (IPL) is placed fourth with a rate of 8.28. The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) took the last place with a rate of 7.02.
