In order to provide basic necessties to the people living in far flung areas of Khyber district, Frontier Corps North in collaboration with Islamic Relief Pakistan and NGO Qatar Charity distributed relief items in Tirah, Khyber district.
Relief items including food packages, hygiene kits and household kits were distributed free of cost among 287 familes living in Rajgal, Sporai, Wacha Wanna, Gar Gat, Zari Gat, Surkas and Sakhi Kot areas of Tirah.
The relief package distribution ceremonies were attended by the authorities of district administration, Frontier Corps North, Islamic Relief Pakistan & NGO Qatar Charity, local elders and families. Locals thanked the Security Forces and NGOs for providing relief items and said that “such steps should be continue so that poor families survive in far flung areas”.
