Season of political wear and tear

After the attacks on some installations of security forces on 9th May, many leaders including some former ministers are saying goodbye to Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf and many others are ready to fly away.

The PTI’s top leadership including Imran Khan is in deep trouble in the current situation. Khan is blaming some other elements for breaking up his party but he has not any clear cut evidence to support his charges.

Almost nine wickets are down so far in the captain’s team including General Secretary of the party Aamir Kiyani and former minister Malik Amin Aslam. Those who are expected to jump from the sinking boat might be Khusro Bakhtiar, Hashim Jawan Bakht, Sardar Muhammad Khan Leghri, Shahab-ud-Din Sehhar, Ahmed Ali Dareshek, Rana Qasim Noon and Meena Jaffar Leghari . These all the MNAs and MPAs had also formed a group in 2018, when PTI came into power ,for a separate Sariki province with the name of “Mutahida Suba Mohaz”.

Back in 2018 , when electables were joining PTI in large groups, on a daily basis . Now the process is reversed as these electables are leaving the party on a large scale.

In the past this all happened with the three former elected Prime Ministers of the country including Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto and now it is the turn of forth one , i.e. Imran Khan.

There are many factors that are involved that every elected government had to face the same circumstances as Khan is facing today. The political instability did not allow any of the PM in the history of the country ever to complete his constitutional tenure.

Horse trading has always remained an important factor in the political instability in the country .

Even in the life of the founder of the country , Quaid-i-Azam , the political instability began in Pakistan , which is prevailing up till now unchanged .

The outgoing Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa also admitted the fact, in his farewell speech that there was some manipulation from the establishment. Some of the political powers think that the same position still exists in the country.

Now political parties should ponder the fact that this door should be closed once for all to maintain the reverence of the parliament otherwise every Prime Minister and each government would have to face the same kind of conditions from which PTI is passing through at this juncture of time.

It became a routine that before every election in history some more or less 100 politicians join other parties after leaving their old political affiliations.

Now the elections are very near as the tenure of the assemblies is going to expire on August 17th instant. Afterward the assemblies would be dissolved and caretaker governments would take over the country for holding the general elections .

Before the elections like every time , the break and make of the political parties has begun . There are a handful politicians who sense the direction of wind much earlier and put their weight behind that party whose prospects are seen even brighter to enter the power corridors.
