Senior doctor wounded by robber’s firing
Faisalabad: Pakistan Association of Pathologists asks District Police Officer Sargodha to apprehend the criminals involved in looting and opening fire on a senior doctor.
According to the reports, renowned doctor Professor Tariq Mehmood (Histopathologist) was going to medical college for performing duties early in the morning on Tuesday. When he was waiting for the bus, some unknown persons came and snatched money and mobile from him.
On showing resistance, the culprits shot at him before fleeing from the crime scene. Some passerby shifted him to Allied Hospital where doctors saved his life however he had suffered a compound fracture in his leg.
The Pakistan Association of Pathologists showed their resentment over the increasing rate of street crimes in the city and asked the police high-ups to arrest the culprits and bring them to justice at earliest.
