In preparation for the pivotal and eagerly anticipated Pakistan vs. India T20 World Cup 2022 match, Pakistan’s left-handed batter Shan Masood was transferred to a hospital on Friday.
During a practice, a ball struck the batter in the head, causing a head injury.
All-rounder Mohammad Nawaz was practicing when he fired a shot that struck Shan’s head and hurt him.
Shan Masood was struck by a ball to the right side of his head during Pakistan’s net session at the MCG, according to a statement from the PCB. He was transported to the hospital for tests.
On Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Pakistan will play the first of their T20 World Cup matches against India (October 23).
