The Directorate General Public Relations (DGPR), a government organisation, is in responsibility of directing and assisting Punjab’s public relations initiatives throughout Pakistan. Through the DGPR, which serves as the primary coordinating organisation, the government and the general public exchange information.

The following are the main roles and duties of the DGPR:

1. Management of Media: The government’s media relations are managed by the DGPR. It arranges interviews and media coverage for government officials as well as press conferences and press releases. It bridges the gap between the media and the government to guarantee the timely and accurate dissemination of information.
