In the upcoming Punjabi film Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne, comedian Sohail Ahmed will star alongside actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh and Sargun Mehta from India. He is portraying a significant role that will provide significant support for the vocalist of “Proper Patola,” who plays the major protagonist. The musician tweeted the clip on Tuesday, revealing that the movie is a family comedy, Ahmed’s specialty and one that is sure to get people laughing.
In the opening scene of the trailer, Dosanjh and his buddies are plotting ways to get money, one of which involves adopting a father in order to receive money from an insurance policy. Mehta portrays a person who works in an old age home but joins the scheme by providing information about the residents’ health conditions, while Ahmed plays the character of the boy’s father.
Mehta and Dosanjh attempt to keep Ahmed alive until the policy is in effect, which is 25 days, but things don’t go according to plan as their fictitious father’s condition begins to improve in their workplace. Amarjit Singh Saron, who also served as director, filmed the film in the US. The executive producer of the movie is Hammad Chaudhry, CEO of HKC Entertainment.
Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne, an Indo-Pak Canadian film with comedy as its genre, is Ahmed’s debut Punjabi film, he told Images. In addition to Hammad Chaudhry, who serves as the film’s executive producer, there are two Pakistanis who contributed to the production. Overall, working on a global project is an extremely thrilling experience.
On top of that, he added, the movie will debut on October 5 in theatres all around the world, including Pakistan.
