A video of a girl being bullied by her classmates at a private international school in Lahore for allegedly not drinking alcohol went viral a few days ago.
The video shows four teenagers verbally abusing their classmate as well as holding her by the hair and pinning her to the ground while demanding that she “say sorry.”
On her mobile phone, other girls and boys can be seen filming the incident.
Numerous Pakistani celebrities have spoken out about the incident and demanded that the group of girls be dealt with right away after watching the video.
Ahsan Khan, a well-known actor from Pakistan, posted a question about the school’s location at the time of the incident on his Instagram account.
He added that everyone involved in the girl’s video must also be in jail.
In an Instagram story, Ahmed Ali Butt said that the video shows how “drugs and social media” are exploiting youth.
He went on to say, “I blame their parents, who have no clue what’s going on in their children’s lives, and the school management, who let this horrible incident happen.”
Yashma Gill wrote in an Instagram story that she wonders when kids will realize that it is not “cool” to bully someone.
Imran Abbas also took to his social media platforms and demanded that the girls be dealt with right away.
The official Capital City Police Lahore Twitter account stated in response to the viral video that a case had been opened and that an investigation into the incident had also been initiated.
