Security forces are continously focusing to provide basic health facilities to the people of tribal districts. In this regard, Frontier Corps North organized a two-day free eye treatment camp in Bajaur district. Camp was esteblished jointly with Roots School System and Al Shafia Eye Trust Hospital Rawalpindi. In the free eye treatment camp, specialist doctors treated 2671 patients and provided medicines. While 560 men, women and children were referred to Shifa Eye Trust Hospital Rawalpindi for free treatment and operation. Apart from this, 898 men, women and children were provided free spectacles. On this occasion, free eye checkup of children was also done in different tehsils and surrounding schools and were provided free medicines. The people of Bajaur thanked the Frontier Corps North for organizing the free eye treatment camp and said that more such camps should be established so that basic health facilities can be provided to the poor people.
