Islamabad: Pakistan’s Usman Wazir will compete in the first-ever Asian Boxing Federation’s title fight here tomorrow.
According to the details, this fight will be the first of its kind in Pakistan and a huge amount of interest has already been shown in it.
While talking to the media on the sidelines of a public weight ceremony, British boxer Amir Khan said he has fulfilled his promise to bring high-profile boxing events in Pakistan. “It is just the first step to bring professional boing events in Pakistan,” he said.
“I am happy to see immense support for boxing in the country and that is why I decided to be here on this auspicious occasion. I hope to bring some more action in near future,” he added.
