VC Women University Bagh submits quarterly progress report to CJ AJK

The quarterly progress report regarding the construction of Women University Bagh in compliance with the decision of the Supreme Court entitled Atta Elahi Abbasi v. Azad Kashmir Govt.  was submitted to the Supreme Court.

 Vice Chancellor Women University Bagh  Dr Abdul Hameed Peerzada presented the report to the Chief Justice Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan.

The Supreme Court Azad Jammu and Kashmir while issuing orders for the acquisition of land and construction project of Women University Bagh, ordered the Vice Chancellor Women University Bagh to construct this national project and Quarterly progress report for land acquisition should be submitted to the Supreme Court.

According to the report of Vice Chancellor Women University Bagh, 2054 kanals of land has been acquired for the university and the construction of the boundary wall is in progress. According to PC-I, work is also being done on the construction of the academic block. The order of the Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to remove obstacles in acquisition, possession and construction of land for the University.

The Chief Justice Supreme Court ordered the relevant authorities that if any person or organization obstructs the acquisition, possession and construction of the boundary wall for this national project, action should be taken against him and such obstruction should be immediately rectified so that this national project can be completed as soon as possible.

 The Vice-Chancellor invited Chief Justice Azad Jammu and Kashmir to visit Women University Bagh.
