What goes wrong ?

On one hand the excessive electricity bills have torn through every household, and on the other the relentless devaluation of the currency has created a sense of mourning and despair.

The middle class of the country has been crushed badly, resulting in only two classes left behind in the country i.e. extremely wealthy or very poor. There are millions of people in the country whose monthly salary is 50,000 rupees, and for the past two months, their electricity bill has exceeded their salary.

A father of two or three children struggling to pay the electricity bill, rent, or provide quality education to their kids. This has become the story of almost every home, wherever you go, this is the outcry.
In these circumstances when there is not any job opportunity for the youth, every graduate wants to go to Canada, America or UK, the brain drain is rapidly escalating in Pakistan.

The young generation, the bright future of the country is leaving as the most corrupt and greedy elite class of Pakistan, has made the country not able to survive. As a matter the rulers of the country have not only continued their extravagance and luxurious lifestyle from the national exchequer while taking the foreign debt but also their lust forced them to carry out corruption on a large scale. The saga of plundering and looting has continued since right from the beginning of the birth of Pakistan.

The real issue is that the nation is crying over the destruction while the crook ruling class has tied their hands. The main problem of structural and persistent issues in the energy and power sectors. The main question is why the country is paying billions of dollars annually to ailing institutions and independent power producers(IPPs) and there is not any accountability for wastage of national money. The IMF has set torment for Pakistan for just two billion dollars’ loan. It is the common feeling that the rulers have sold the country to the IMF as they cannot even provide relief to the people without the consent of the international donor agency.

The country’s leadership has neither any vision nor future planning, either they have not any priority as they are running the country on adhocism . The development budget goes waste in procurement of new vehicles or renovation of offices for the high-ups.

We attach the emblem of Pakistan to our chests and believe that no one loves this country more than us. But the reality is that very few who care for the prosperity of the homeland.

The Pakistani nation has become the victims of personal interests of their leaders. No one cares about the country. They take care that only their children can earn foreign university degrees, buy bulletproof luxury cars and large farm houses in Pakistan, expensive apartments abroad and above all they have to trade people in different fields as well as media for their political survival.
