They do not accept the doctrine of surrender and will not betray the blood of 500,000 martyrs.
He said that the time has come for the people to rise above regional and factional biases and support the establishment of a society based on justice.
“Our goal is the establishment of a society founded on justice, and spineless Narendra Modi should remember that he cannot suppress the Kashmiris with the force of guns. The freedom of Kashmir will become the epitome of India’s failure to annex territories”, Dr. Mushtaq added.
On this occasion, Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Raja Jahangir Khan, Syed Zeeshan Haider, former Assembly candidate Bashir Awan, Organizer Kashmir Raja Harith, Raja Nazakat Ali Khan, Khalid Zaidi, Farooq Abbasi, and Ali Asghar Kazmi, along with other leaders, also addressed the gathering.
While addressing the welcoming conference, Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan said that the people of Azad Kashmir are apprehensive about their basic needs like flour. The rulers should listen carefully that if they do not bring about reforms, Jamaat-e-Islami will organize the people and become their spokesperson. Jamaat-e-Islami does not advocate lawlessness in the liberated zone, but the suffering people cannot be left alone. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami has been striving for the establishment of a just system for 75 years. Instead of providing relief to the people of 20 camps, these rulers have subjected the people to more difficulties. The system of merit has closed the doors of employment for the children of the poor due to nepotism and bribery. Jamaat-e-Islami is making efforts for the establishment of a merit-based system. Until then, this region cannot progress, and no one can play a role in achieving the freedom of Kashmir. Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan said that influential individuals in society should join Jamaat-e-Islami so that the outdated and oppressive system of the British can be transformed into a fair and just Islamic system. He thanked the people of Jehlum Valley for expressing their love and loyalty.
