Lahore: A 5-member delegation from Zimbabwe will visit Multan and Rawalpindi to inspect bio-secure arrangements prior to their team’s arrival in Pakistan to play three ODIs and as many T20Is.
According to the sources, the delegation will tour Pakistan from October 10 to 15 on the expenses of Zimbabwe Cricket. The members of the medical team will also accompany the delegation on the tour. Remember, in 2015, PCB paid Zimbabwean players for the tour.
PCB’s director – International Cricket Zakir Khan will lead Pakistan’s delegation which will assist the visitors.
In the first phase, the delegation will visit Rawalpindi and then Multan in the second phase to inspect the bio-secure arrangements there. Further on, Pakistan’s tour to Zimbabwe next year will also be discussed during this tour.
It must be noted here that Zimbabwe Cricket had already confirmed their tour in October following their satisfaction on the bio-secure arrangements for the tour sent to them by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Zimbabwe is scheduled to play three ODIs on October 30, November 1, and 3 whereas three T20Is on November 7, 8 and 10 respectively.
