First IG Taekwondo Championship inaugurated in South Waziristan

South Waziristan: The inaugural ceremony was attended by a large number of students and athletes from Sector Commander South Commandant Gomal Scouts and tribal elders.
The first IGFC Taekwondo Championship was inaugurated at Spinkai Raghzi area of ​​South Waziristan yesterday. A large number of students and athletes participated in the Taekwondo Championship. Eight teams from across the country including Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, Azad Kashmir and Waziristan will compete till November 15. Opening Ceremony Special guests were Sector Commander South.
At the inaugural function, school children performed melodies and tablo and traditional Pashto dance. Addressing the inaugural function, Sector Commander South said that the aim of the championship is to attract the young generation towards positive activities.
These young men are the ones who have to take the lead of the country and the nation. The sacrifices of Mehsood Wazir and Bettani tribes for peace in the region are not hidden from anyone. We pay tribute to them for their cooperation in the promotion of sports.
