Bureau Report

MUZAFFARABAD: By understanding the sensitivity of current situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) and along the Line of Control (LoC), government should appoint a focal person on Kashmir in foreign ministry, said the Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Abdul Rasheed Turabi here on Thursday. He expressed this while addressing to the media persons in Muzaffarabad. He expressed concerns over the statements of Indian political and military leadership for attacking AJK and said that such statements are very dangerous for the peace of the whole world. Such a behavior can lead both the nuclear powers in a direct confrontation. India should understand the fact that if it would take any such step then it would be devastated badly. Any offence from Indian side would be resulted into the devastation of India and freedom of Kashmir, he added. He lauded the President Sardar Masood Khan for leading the Kashmir Virtual Conference which has put a great impact on Kashmir Movement.
