Unemployment, poverty increased by coronavirus led situation: Sardar Attique

MUZAFFARABAD: The crisis of coronavirus spread has increased financial problems of masses worldwide, unemployment and poverty has increased due to the current situation caused by the spread of coronavirus pandemic, said the former PM AJK, and Leader All Jammu and Kashmir Mushlim Conference Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan here on Friday. He expressed this while addressing to the media persons in Muzaffarabad. Governments of today’s world will have to devise the economic policies according to the current situation, he added. He said that government should include the relief packages for the affectees of coronavirus in budget. The current lockdown caused by the spread of coronavirus has badly disturbed the business community. People have also been badly disturbed by this virus. Coronavirus seems to stay for a longer time which can create a great crisis situation. Government should give another look to budget to give relief to government employees and pensioners, he added. He said that the masses of Kashmir who are living quite closer to the Line of Control (LoC) are the second defense line of the country. They are firmly standing side by side the armed forces of the country, he added.
